Chiropractic is a regulated and protected profession in the UK. Our Chiropractors are full members of the General Chiropractic council and the British Chiropractic Association. Training involves 5 years of full-time higher education and covers a variety of subjects including; pharmacology, neurology, orthopaedics, radiology, neuroanatomy and general diagnosis including manual technique and skeletal adjustive classes.

Chiropractors are trained to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions which includes; neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, arm and hand pain, headaches related to the neck, stiffness, tightness and pins and needles. Treatment includes deep tissue massage, therapeutic ultrasound, stretches, exercises, lifestyle advice, manipulation/mobilisation and rehabilitation. Chiropractic is concerned not just with the treatment of these conditions but also the management and prevention of musculoskeletal problems and enhancement of general well-being.

The philosophy of Chiropractic is based on restoration of joint position predominantly in the spine which results in optimal nervous system function. Issues with the spinal area can also effect peripheral joints such as ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows and wrists therefore we make a point of dealing with these also to ensure the most efficient and holistic care possible.
