We all experience stress at some point in our everyday lives. We carry a lot of this tension in our upper body and neck. Indian head massage focuses on these areas which are particularly affected by emotional and mental stress. It is a wonderful treatment for calming the mind, releasing muscular tension and promoting relaxation. The massage usually will begin by working on the upper back, moving through the shoulders and upper arms followed by the neck and head. The treatment may finish with a gentle face massage.

Indian head massage is done seated so can be a perfect treatment for those unable to lie down. It can also be done fully clothed and without oils. It can be great for relieving the tension that can develop in the upper back, shoulders and upper arms.
